Look at your Index page.
Do you see the bar that says Residence Sector »?
Well...i'm suggestion a code where when you double click that bar, the forum underneath it hides. Like a Hide/Show code=P
Then, when you double click it again, it shows the forum are shown=)
Then, during the Hide/Show ondbl click function, you can set that boards id and style.display as the window.name...
So the next time the page loads in that window, the catagory is still hidden=)

AHHHH... I get it, I get it =) ... So, a function for hide/show which grabs the category id in a window.name, but how would I keep the catbg...meh, let me do some testing just to see if this works or not XD

It's better when you make your own codes for a forum...that way, you don't need persmission to edit them, and you can fix them easier=P

If I were good enough I'd code the whole thing, but... I'm not And I partially don't want to, either. I like using other's codes, it gives them a purpose to exist and makes it 10x easier for all of us. Plus, I'm out to prove something... which I will state later. But this is part of the reason why.

Smangii, try making all the codes, where ever you got problems you can PM me, on Exdat or PBS ... write ALL the codes ! no exceptions 
oh and the cat splitter part (show/hide), you use the category id its alittle A tag in the name <a name="general> you save that in the cookie

Another suggestion.
In V4, keep all the images on one host, instead of both photobucket and imageshack.
I'm on a school computer, and half of the images are blocked that are on photobucket (for pornographic content... hmm), and I can see all the imageshack image, so..

Damn, I remember what happened in v2... I was on Imageshack and ALL the images turned into broken links. Twas horrible =(
